Private sightseeing tour Introduction: Discover some of the masterpieces of Italian gastronomy: TRADITIONAL BALSAMIC VINEGAR (Aceto Balsamico di Modena) and PARMESAN CHEESE (Parmigiano Reggiano cheese) with TASTING at the producers’ factories.
All products are protected and controlled by their consortium. This means that these products can only be made in a particular area of Italy. Parmesan cheese is only produced in the morning once a day, 365 days a year.
In and around Modena, there have always been different types of vinegar made from grape must. These products’ origins date back to the Middle Ages. The term "Balsamic" is relatively new and used for the first time in 1747, probably the name derived from the therapeutic uses to which the vinegar was put at the time. A tasting is foreseen in the producing factories. Tastings to be paid by the tourists on visit day.

All visits foresee a tasting to be paid on spot at the total cost of about € 20 / 30 (it depends on the factories).
