Chef Cristina will guide you through the preparation of some typical Italian specialties made with organic food as: "Gnocchi", "Risotto", "Crema di Cannellini", "Tiramisù"…etc; revealing some of their culinary secrets. This Cuisine works in an organic style, selecting food based on the season, on the distance (kilometer zero), the typicity and organic origin, the classic slow food cuisine. But in this lesson you have also the opportunity to learn about preparation and cooking techniques to preserve the original tastes and fragrances of the food in these italian organic meals. Last but not least, you will use some fair-trade products and the restaurant works in an sustainable style.
The Italian organic cookery course Program: 10:00 am We will meet in Padua’s Piazza delle Erbe and visit the fruit and vegetable market 11,00 am Finish the market visit and take the tram to the restaurant for the organic cookery course 11,30 am Cooking lesson 1,00 pm Lunch that you prepared 3,00 pm Return to Piazza delle Erbe or Padua train station
