Combine a bike tour of the Italian Renaissance Pearl with a food tour of Florence’s three most coveted culinary delights! You will taste the flavors of Florence, both edible and cultural, on a bike tour through the city. We start our food tour from one of the most charming Cathedrals in the world and its world-famous Dome, followed by a visit to the Beccaria neighborhood where you will taste a traditional Italian pastry. Continuing to the famous San Niccolo’ district you will live like a Florentine as you enjoy a traditional “schiacciata all’olio” (flat salty bread with olive oil) that locals usually buy every day. During this tour, you will also visit the most important historic places of Florence such as: the Piazza della Repubblica square, the Ponte Vecchio, the Piazza della Signoria square and the beautiful Santa Croce and Uffizi museum areas! As your tour guide explains our most precious city sights, she will also tell you about our local food tradition; for example why “Gelato” is linked to Florence, as well as why the Tuscan bread is unsalted, and much more.
