The twisty road runs like a balcony suspended between the cobalt blue sea and the slopes of the Lattari mountains, with its 75 km the coast has become the favorite place of resort for tourists. The best way to enjoy the coast in one day is to attend a tour and be guided by experienced drivers. The tour departs from Naples and after 40 minutes on the highway, follow the road that leads from the coast of Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast. The road 163 of the Coast appears immediately with all its beauty, and after 15 minutes you reach the picturesque Positano with its houses climbing down the cliff. The tour continues through two more villages until you reach the town of Conca dei Marini, here we will stop for lunch in a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea before the famous Grotta dello Smeraldo. After this stop we continue towards Amalfi, the town that gives its name to the coastline, obligatory destination for its history and its beautiful Cathedral. Finally we cross the mountains and reach the last town Ravello, capital of classical music in Italy. Mandatory is a visit to the enchanting Villa Rufolo whose gardens have inspired the composer Wagner for the final of the “Parsifal“.
