Their tomato flan is the rave of all the world. The menu is hand-written, and the food is delightful. We tried everything on the menu (appetizers, primi, controni, dolci). Everything was excellent. They helped select a wine, just a cut above vino tavolo, and it was heaven. I highly recommend this authentic florentine/fusion restaurant. It was an experience to remember. it was well priced for a fantastic evening, and we felt excellent afterwards.

We stayed at the Belvedere last fall for 2 nights. Loved our room, which was in a separate smaller building. Very nice hotel with lovely gardens and pool area, nice room with excellent views. food good, the staff wre very nice and most helpful. the bar was in the hotel receptoin which may be the reason it only has three stars, this did not spoil our stay there.

Inside there is a welcoming atmosphere with modern decor and wooden furniture. A large window faces out onto the street. Oriental background music will accompany your meal. The dishes originate from the Mediterranean, particularly Tunisia and Morocco. The cous-cous, and fish kefte are good, as are the salmon bagels. There are interesting kosher Italian and Israeli wines. This welcoming restaurant is located next to the Florence Synagogue and a Kosher store.
